This past weekend was much needed. I got to hang out with my old roommate and forget about all the stressors in life. My favorite part was when we went walking through the nature trail. I could have walked forever; I felt so at peace. It’s amazing how when in nature, you find bits of yourself. You feel so calm, relaxed and everything that bothered you before seems to no longer exist. That is a feeling I wish I could have at all times. That’s a feeling I’ve been blessed to experience a lot these past few weeks as I traveled. And every time I return “home,” I realize this is not for me.
